This weekend I also saw Gothika with Halle Berry. I rented it with a few friends, and am very pleased that I did. The only way to explain this movie is that it is a cross between Sixth Sense and a Freddy movie. It's really not that scary. It's essentially about a woman who gets a poltergiest that she has to help.
I can only give this movie about a 3.5 out of 10 because, it's really not that good. It is a movie that you could miss out on and not really be out of the pop scene.
This weekend I saw Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. It was a decent flick, though it was making me sick to my stomach because of the shacky camera movements. I could barely sit through the film. If you go make sure you have a strong constitution and that you pay attention very well.
The Movie itself is about a guy who gets memories of his ex-girlfriend erased so that he can move on with his life. It's a very interesting notion. But, it has kind of an interesting ending. I give it a 6 out of 10. Watch if you can take the shacky movements.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up lately. Lots of stuff going on on this end.
Well, I have recently seen many, many movies so I am gonna give you the low down on those. First up is Jersey Girl. I have to say it is one of Kevin Smith's best movies. It's a very good story about the love between a father and his daughter. I give it a 9 out of 10. Go see it.
Next I saw Dawn of the Dead. It was an amazing remake of a movie about zombies. This is another one to go see, and I give it a 9 out of 10 also.
I have also recently seen Hidalgo. This is a story that was based upon a true story about a cowboy that goes to (I believe) Saudi Arabia to compete in a race. It was a decent flick. Watch it once, but there is no need to buy it on DVD unless you are a cowboy/Viggio Mortensen fan. I give it a 6 out of 10.
Lastly, I saw Walking Tall with The Rock. It was an alright flick. I would say wait until it gets to the cheap theatre near you and then go see it. Or, even wait until it hits the video stores to rent it. But, it is a good story about good defeating evil. I give it a 5 out 10.
Now onto other things. Kill Bill Vol. 1 comes to DVD this coming tuesday. I can't wait. If you haven't seen it get it. It is excellent. And, Kill Bill Vol. 2 comes to theatres in about a week and a half. The DVD comes out on the 13th of April and the movie is in theatres on the 15th. Go check them out I know that I will be there opening night.
I will try to keep up on my posts so keep on reading for more movie reviews. I will also try to compile a list of the best and worst movies that I have seen and post those also. So that you to can have your "bad movie night" and "good movie night." I will explain what these are in my next post.
